Lord this morning You have been highlighting faith, anchoring ourselves in You and depth to me.
I can’t believe I almost missed it, Lord, this beautiful plant, this glorious aloe, once tall and full of life and colour, vibrant and vivacious, now felled…
Wow, when my daughter got out the car, clearly she had not seen the aloe yesterday and full of sympathetic compassion ran over to the aloe and stroked it in empathy saying sorry aloe… noting it’s beauty now lost, life; once so giving, so deep in colour, adding so much meaning to our otherwise ordinary days… she was reminiscing the life that once was in and out of, and through the plant… while walking over to it, I said to her nonchalantly “too much water” she repeated in disbelief “too much” this caused me to have a rethink… too much water maybe…. but this aloe was made to grow,
