Counselling Sessions - let's take hands for your healing
I haven't written in such a long time I feel like a novice or an invited author, rather than myself writing this article...
Well, the reason for my long leave of absence is working out and completing my counseling course... now you may wonder what an author needs with a counseling course, but that really is the point isn't it... we're each on our own journey as dictated by the Father and mine is, as yours, I'm certain, very unique.
My unique gifting is bringing others into their calling and right standing with Jesus and this is done by calling us out with my writing, as my call from John resonates so clearly in the writing:
"The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight [a]in the desert
A highway for our God.
4 Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made [b]straight
And the rough places smooth;
5 The glory of the Lord shall be revealed,
And all flesh shall see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
6 The voice said, “Cry out!”
And [c]he said, “What shall I cry?”
“All flesh is grass,
And all its loveliness is like the flower of the field.
7 The grass withers, the flower fades,
Because the breath of the Lord blows upon it;
Surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.”
Then again my calling of working with churches and doing outreaches to bring the lost into their eternal home according to the call of Rom 10:14:
"14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?"
Lastly my call to bring all those around me to full healing through body, soul and spirit comes from Job 29:17:
"I broke the fangs of the wicked,
And plucked the victim from his teeth."
We, together, will break the fangs of the enemy and pluck the innocent victims from his teeth, by the grace of God we will have healing, deliverance and break through for all!
Imagine if you or your loved one could get break through in areas they've been struggling with their whole lives, perhaps now's the time to break the hold the enemy has had on you and be free to do what the Lord has called you to - live a life you can only imagine or dream of Eph 3:20.

Aligning body, soul and spirit
How important is it anyway and besides who came up with this concept...
Well, I've had a good long time to look at this, it seems to be the subject I can't get away from... so I started looking at Jesus and what did He have to say about this and who was He speaking to...
Jesus' first mentions tell us of the importance of alignment, His birth wasn't by mistake and His timing wasn't slightly off, He came into the world at the perfect time, when there were enough roads and connections internationally to spread the word of His arrival... this, not quaint arrival, came at a time of unrest and distress, exactly when Jewish people would've 'killed' for a Saviour, no disrespect, but they would've become militant for the right Saviour, they were ready to band together and over throw the rotten Roman empire.
He came at a time appointed perfectly and specifically, and indicated it loudly and clearly for those in the know to have ample time as well as opportunity to find and adore Him, look at the shepherds, minding their own business and finding angels singing the praises of God. He came announcing Himself to both meek and humble as well as the royal and well-healed... excuse the pun, camels were well-healed back then... He made Himself known in a non-arrogant and yet kingly manner. He came when He was supposed to, at the right time to achieve all He had set out to, in His perfectly planned purpose of God's reclamation of man-kind to Himself.
If He came with such precision and alignment, don't you think He has such perfectly-timed precise alignment, for each of us today, especially since He said in John 14:12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
Since Jesus went to His Father, He has made it possible for us to remain in alignment, to keep ourselves on track, but that's just the start. We keep ourselves aligned to Him to achieve His plans and purposes by being His hands and feet.
Safe to say when we're aligned to Him, He will align to us and we will achieve what Ephesians 3:20 promises "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"
When did Jesus actually show us the importance of alignment... let's look at his answer when he was lost and his parents had been searching for him for 3 days “Why were you searching for me?” he asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?”[a] 50 But they did not understand what he was saying to them." - never mind didn't know what He was saying to them, in our day and age that would have gotten you a clip over the ear for that kind of cheek...
But, since He was the perfect Son of God we know that it wasn't cheek, so what was He actually trying to say to us... Let's take a deeper look... "Why were you searching for me"... sounds a lot like something else we've heard Him say when He was older... Matthew 8:26 "And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm." - He was effectively saying the same thing to His parents, why do you have so little faith in Me?... then He expressed His intentional knowing what and where His alignment should be..."didn't you know I should be in My Father's house?" - this is the only obvious place for Him to have been, honouring and serving the Father, aligned to His purpose and God's masterful plan to bring salvation to the likes of us... you and me... do we deserve it...
Who are we prepared to upset, or unravel, to be in alignment with Him today... Jesus upset His entire family's party, they had to turn back from a 3 day journey, that's people, animals, food, provisions, it's not 20minutes in the car... getting the picture... who are you prepared to annoy, slightly, or a little more, to do what the Father has called you to... I'm talking to myself here too people, we are way too comfortable in our positions... let's step out of the boat and start standing on some toes! With a mighty hallelujah to boot!
Now, let's look at Jesus and John the Baptist... Here John is, baptising, knowing that Jesus is somewhere nearby, He knows the Kingdom is come! More than anyone else. Imagine his astonishment when along comes the One and only King of the universe, never to be seen on earth at another time in history, only his time period would know the living breathing Jesus as he did, here He comes and says to John, "will you baptise Me?"
John can't believe his ears, he feels dizzy, a pang of have I really lost my mind, I mean all these people believe me to be mad, am I mad, did the man from Galilee just ask me to baptise Him? And he says, no, in Matthew 3:14-15 "I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented."
You see again here what Jesus' reply was "let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness." In order for Jesus to be established as King He needed to show the signs of earthly baptism, bringing Him into alignment with God almighty's plan for His life... even if we were standing right there we might have missed it... so it's ok if we take a while, sit and meditate on these things and consider the greater work the Father is doing here... but for now, let's remember what Jesus said in Matthew 6:33 "Seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you." - now there's a whole other conversation, and you can go read Matthew 6 to see what Jesus was talking about when He said all these things... but suffice to start the thinking process at aligning ourselves to the King, aligning ourselves to the righteousness He has been aligning Himself to, here at the foot of the cross we find, we are restored, renewed and reinvigorated to journey with the Father through the Jesus and the Holy Spirit to the spirit-led life Jesus called us to in the first place.
New name, new mantling
This morning, the Lord woke me up, telling me exactly what to do... as I sat down to do it... I bumped my water over and had a huge mess to clean up and I was irritated with myself and the situation and blaming myself for my clumsiness... etc, etc...
Then, all of a sudden, mid moan, I saw that in the process my writing area got a clean wipe, my archived writing paper box got a clean wipe and the Lord said, "I am dusting off the things of old that you have shelved, thinking you were not good enough, you are not cut out for this line of work, you are not the right person, you got the calling wrong, I am dusting off that for which you have disqualified yourself, without returning to Me and finding out if that's what I called you for...return to Me again, and hear what the Spirit of the Lord has to say and I will say it to you, if you will return to Me and listen, I will restore the dreams you had of old, I will restore the plans you thought were long shelved and forgotten, I will restore your thoughts of Me and dreams I placed in your heart long ago which have become distant memories... so get up today and dust off those thoughts and plans and hopes of the future, dust off the imagination of what the Lord has instore, which is greater than anything you can hope or imagine or dream of... far above, far beyond the heart and the imagination!"
So, when I say, we're dusting off the old, the Lord showed me that it's not to do away with the new, it's simultaneously incorporating what we've learnt in the past season, to what we did before that was our calling, but we've allowed it to lie dormant, because of fear of failure, fear of loss, fear of commitment, fear that we will loose our "income" because we're busy with "non-income" generating things, while the Lord is saying, one is not separate from the other... the income you require is not separate from the calling I have placed in your heart and on your life, one is inseparably intertwined with the other, now wake up, you sleepers... if I could shout this I would, WAKE UP SLEEPING CHURCH AND STEP INTO YOUR MANTLE TODAY! STOP FIGHTING WITH THE LORD AND FACE THE GIANT OF FEAR AND TAKE IT DOWN! NOW IS THE TIME TO ARISE.
Arise giant sleeping church and take the nations by storm with what you have for me, the great harvest awaits... the greatest you have ever seen, is waiting to come down and take the nations by storm and that storm is every believer stepping into their mantle, not necessarily a brand new one but definitely a revived and more defined role they never realised they had or were called to.
Thank You, Lord, I truly appreciate everything You do and say to me daily, without You I would be nothing. I surrender all and submit all to You, in the mighty matchless name of Jesus!
